How To Make All-Natural, Non-Toxic Floor Cleaners.
We have not had carpet in our house for a few years now, so we need to constantly clean both our hardwood and tile floors with some sort of non-toxic cleaners. Sure, a broom will do most of the cleaning, but you do need to get them clean with a real cleaning product sometimes! For those days, there are a few ways you can make an all-natural, non-toxic cleaner that will do the job:
For Cleaning Wood Floors (not laminates)
Combine 1/2 gallon white vinegar and 1/2 gallon olive oil in a large bucket and mop the floors. They will be nice and shiny and clean after this, without any toxins!
For Cleaning Tile Floors
Combine 1 gallon of water (warm) and 1.5 cups of white vinegar for a spotless and all-natural deep cleaning.
There really is no need to buy toxic sprays and bottles to clean your floors. In the old days, these are the recipes that homeowners used and their floors were just as clean as the ones today cleaned with toxic chemicals. Using safe ingredients like these leads to a natural clean house!
